KNOW your KNIGHT

Richard Minogue: is the council’s current Financial Secretary.  He was talked into becoming a knight by Philip Cascardo. Their daughters were friends and played field hockey together.

Rich made his first degree here in council 2458 on November 9th 2010 and his fourth on November 13th, 2013. He served on several committees and was an Outside Guard before taking his role as FS.

At 56 he is married to Gina,(never ask a woman her age), along with three grown daughters. Alexis, Gianna and Olivia. There is also a ferocious dog name Elphaba,(all ten pounds of her). SK Rich grew up in Bellerose Terrace, Nassau County. He spent most of his college years attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Brach Florida.  Worked many jobs until he became a computer programmer in the mid 80’s. Rich wrote code, made computers and jumped into UNIX for several companies and consulting firms including 1800 FLOWERS. He is now semi-retired and spends his time making sure our councils operations are running at 100%. Rich has been a valuable asset to all the Grand Knights he has served, and is always there to help any Knight in need.. Anytime you want to hear more about Rich, he  is quoted as saying" buy me a drink, and I'll tell you more"
